Julianne seemed to enjoy her party, for the most part. She did not like anything that had to do with cake/icing or the singing. She loved the balloons and all of the people. She gave out a lot of kisses and smiles too. Julianne even got to play on the swings. It was a beautiful, breezy day and we enjoyed celebrating our sweet girl's first birthday.
We're hoping to go to Ochsner Hospital (if Child Life says that day is ok) on Monday to bring in some treats and surprises for the pediatric patients in honor of Julianne's birthday. Thanks so much for your gifts and donations for them.

Loved the cakes and all the cupcakes! Looks like u all had a great time. Wish Julianne had tasted that yummy looking cake; next year there will be no stopping her! I can't believe she kept her birthday crown on throughout the whole party. What a party girl. Jessica, you and Kent have made Julianne such a special and happy girl. Keep up the good work. We love you all.

24 lbs! WOW, she's heavier than my Elyse. My poor baby has a hard time gaining weight. =(
She was truly a princess that day!! And as the song goes...."It's her party and she can cry if she wants to!!"
We're soooo glad that we were able to spend the afternoon. It was such a beautiful day. It was sooooo sweet to be surrounded by pink!! : )

What a great 1st birthday party!!! The birthday girl is adorable in her crown! She seemed to like the swing, too...I am sure she got a good wipe down afterwards though.
That is so awesome that you are taking items to the hospital for her first birthday...that will mean so much to them! You are a very special family and we love sharing in these beautiful milestones in Julianne's life!

How sweet! It brings tears to my eyes to see how well she is doing and to know it has already been a year! What a Gift she is! We love the updates and can't wait to see you all next weekend at the LPCF Reunion!
