Watching and Waiting

Today was fairly uneventful and we're ok with that. :) Julianne's heart rate has been right where it needs to be and her oxygen saturations as well (on 1 liter of oxygen).  Her blood pressure is still a little higher than they'd like, but its lower than its been in the last week.  She's completely off of the IV med, Milrinone and on the oral med, Captopril now.  So far she's done fine.   Julianne did have a few vomiting episodes last night and today.  We're not sure if its her old friend, "Reflux" or if its the poor function causing digestion problems or if its a tube placement problem.  Tomorrow she's set to go to fluoroscopy for her PICC line placement.  While there they're going to check tube placement as well.  She'll be under anesthesia again for the PICC line placement and may or may not need to be on the ventilator.  Julianne is also scheduled for an Echo tomorrow.  Dr. Breitbart has said not to expect too much, if any, improvement in the function yet.  It may still be too early.  She will probably move to the floor tomorrow if everything continues going well.

Please pray for protection for Julianne during her PICC line placement tomorrow as well as for continued healing for her heart.  We're so thankful for Julianne's improvement.  We pray that tomorrow they WILL see improvement on the Echo!  I really feel that God has answered our prayers for peace for ourselves as well.  I know He's with Julianne and with us every moment of every day. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement.

What great news that her heart rate has gone down.

I will pray that the doctors will see some improvement in her heart function tomorrow.

I am looking forward to the day that you all can come back home and have somewhat of a normal life.

God bless you all and my prayers are with you.

Aunt Naomi sends her blessings also.

Love you all,

Aunt Suzette
