Up and Up

Well, today has really been a day of good news. As of 5PM Julianne's platelets were up to 124,000. Its definitely on an upward trend. There are still some questions as to whether or not she will be able to continue to keep that number up when the IVIG wears off, which is 4 to 6 weeks from now. The thought is still that this was caused either by the Bactrim or something viral, so it is reasonable to think that the further away from the Bacrim/viral issue we get, the better her health will be.

As for when we'll get out of here...that is still up in the air. I know they want her to be able to MAINTAIN a platelet level of 150,000 or more. We also still need to deal with the issue of reintroducing the aspirin and plavix and starting her on the new antibiotic, Ciprofloxacin. Maybe we'll know more tomorow.

Tonight we're thanking God for protecting our little girl during this frightening experience and we're praying for continued healing and peace for our girl. Thank you so much for your prayers and love for our family. :)

What good news! And prayers continue as you well know. My daughter-in-law texted an inquiry about Julianne last night. She shared that Emmaleigh is very concerned about Julianne. She and her mommy are praying for her.

So happy to hear this wonderful news. Praying that her numbers will still climb and they will find the right match medicine-wise to help her recover fully.
Love to all,
