No New Chest Tube

This is just a quick update to tell you that Julianne did not need a new chest tube! We've heard that the Pneumothorax looked a little better this morning, so they're going to just keep watching her for now. I can't tell you how thankful I am that she didn't need another chest tube!!! Thank you, God. :)

Wow, I'm so sorry I've missed you for so long! And oh my, has Julianne grown and that beautiful hair! Simply adorable!

I just read up on sweet Julianne's Fontan journey!! I strictly use Google Reader and I think I must have accidentally deleted a few accounts last month. I just now realized I haven't checked in on you in such a long time...among many other of my heart friends!! So very sorry.
Looks like Miss Julianne is doing fabulously! Those darn drain tubes seem to be the biggest hurdle when it comes to the Fontan. Mary Clare's will be in the fall, we think. Thanks for sharing your road, as we'll soon be in your shoes.
I'm so happy things are going well for her. I will continue to pray for her and check in on you all. Love, prayers and hugs your way!

Well, it may be a 3rd "fancy meeting you here" CHB event this weekend. Giac will be admitted on Sunday afternoon for a cath to have his stent (put in after they closed his fontan fenestration 2 years ago) dilated. We'll also spend some time trying to figure out how to get him out of size 18 month pants before he turns 6 years old. Hopefully, you won't still be there, but if you are, you'll have friends!
