She did it!!

Last night Julianne finally rolled over! She was on her tummy and rolled (in slow motion) to her back! I was so excited. Of course there haven't been any further attemps to complete that trick again. :)

The night before last Julianne had A LOT to tell her daddy after he got home from work! I guess she'd had a big day. Check out the video:

We think Julianne really should audition for the part of the Michelin Man (or baby, I guess). This girl has some serious rolls! Here she is all stretched out.

Julianne had her Ophthalmologist appointment today. It went really well and everyone loved her. She's always giving away smiles. :) Julianne even had to have her pupils dilated. They held her eyes open and sprayed them with a spray that dilated the pupils. They couldn't believe that she didn't cry. She just squeezed her eyes tightly shut, blinked a bunch of times and then flashed a big, two-toothed smile. I told them Julianne was a tough girl. The results of the exam were great! Everything basically checked out normal. This is great news as her stroke had the potential to affect her vision. They didn't see any damage to the optic nerve, she's moving her eyes together, she tracks things well, looks in all directions and is very attentive. The doctor did see some astigmatism. She said this is fairly normal for babies. Usually they'll see either some farsightedness or some astigmatism. She said this will change as her eyes grow with her body. The doctor told me that all babies should have their first eye exam between 6 and 12 months! I had no idea! She said the next time they should be seen is at 3 years old. However, she'd like to see Julianne back in 8 months to make sure that all is well with the astigmatism that she saw today. She did say that, more than likely, Julianne will end up nearsighted as she comes from two nearsighted parents. :)

Thanks so much for checking in on Julianne and, as always, thank you for the prayers. :)

Wonderful! We are so glad that Julianne's appt went so well. It is always great to get such good news! She is just too cute and too sweet, like her parents. Her parents are always smiling so I imagine she'll be just like them. Keep smiling and she will too!

It is wonderful to hear that her eye appointment went so well! She is so cute and I love the rolls-just want to pinch them. Emma Kate has her share now also!! I'm sure that she was proud and surprised to roll over. What amazing things they do and what an amazing GOD that allows us to share in these precious moments!!

God bless and you remain in my prayers,

Love this video. It's so great to see her progressing.

At the end of the video, it sounds like Julianne says, "huh?" It made me and my co-workers smile.

Unfortunatly couldn't view the video but I was happy to see the real live Julianne this past weekend.

She is sooo cute and happy from from her dimpled cheeks to her little chubby feets;)!!

I just saw on the last blog how pretty she is in her little spring dress made by her very own seamstress her cousin Ashlynn.

I am happy to hear that her eyes are in good shape after all she has been through!!

Thank you God for your continued blessings showered down on Julianne,Jessica and Kent.

I wish I could get some of those pounds on Giac who is at 3 1/2 years old just 27 pounds! Maybe she could spare him a thigh or so??
