More good days

Julianne continues to do well on her medications.  So well, that she was moved out of the CICU to the floor yesterday!  We still don't know a surgery date, but we're hoping to find out something today. We're still hopeful for a date at the end of this week.

Yesterday after moving to the floor, Julianne spent the day playing and napping which is great!  She LOVED her balloon!  She was kicking it and grabbing it.  Today she's been slapping a bear that rattles over and over again.  We think she's really learning how to "play."  That's so nice for us to see that she's still developing even though she's been in the hospital.  She really is so much fun!
Julianne also likes to sit with us in the rocking chair and hold on to the armrest!  Its very cute.

We're still working on getting glue out of Julianne's hair from the EEG.  We're using adhesive remover pads, but it still is quite annoying to her.  So we can only work on it a little at a time.  Maybe by the time she's discharged we'll have all the glue out.

Well, a sleeping baby's eyes just popped open so we'd better go.  We're thanking God for these wonderful days we've had and for Julianne's continued improvement, neurological and otherwise. Thank you for your continued prayers!

So glad to hear that Julianne is doing better and improving every day. We will continue to pray for her healing and progress and that you will get a surgery date soon and will be able to move on with this process. Thank you for always reminding us to appreciate all the little, albeit important, things and to trust God with each step of our journeys! He is truly using each one of you! Love, Laurie Epting and family of Columbia, SC

That is fantastic news. We're so glad to hear she's getting back to her old self.....what a big girl, almost 6 months old!!!

We will continue to pray that she gets stronger and stronger every day, and also that all goes well with her surgery and that she is home soon, just in time for spring to play in the grass.

Hugs & Kisses

Still praying for that precious angel baby! I know it must be so encouraging to see her acting like her normal self. I will pray for more smiles and giggles, and for more good days for her mommy and daddy :)
