Cardiologist Appointment

Julianne had her last Cardiologist appointment before we go to Boston. He said she looked good and that he thinks she'll do great. She now weighs almost 15 pounds! She's gaining an average of 25 grams per day, which is just right. She's supposed to gain 20 - 25 grams per day.

Early Steps is sending someone to our house on Wednesday. They're just going to be talking with me for this first appointment. That is fine with me because I don't really want Julianne exposed to too many people this close to her surgery. We don't want to increase her chances of getting sick. In fact, we've had some stuffy noses around here so we've been wearing masks all day. When family has come over to visit they're also wearing masks and not touching her face, hands and arms (because she likes to put those in her mouth).

I looked at the weather forecast for the day we arrive in Boston: High 26, Low 15 with snow shower! Wow, its going to be coooooolllllddddddd.

Thanks for all your prayers and for checking in. :)

Oh pshaw - 26 in Boston is practically springtime! ;-)

I'm glad the entries from Sammy's Glenn were helpful. Seriously - he bounced back SO MUCH quicker than he did from the Norwood. My understanding is that it's the easiest of all three.

Good luck! We're about 45 minutes from Boston, so if you need anything, feel free to email!

Haven't been online for a while. Enjoyed all the pictures and videos. Julianne is such a sweet baby!! Sooooo cute too. Glad to hear how well she is progressing with her weight. We will definitely be praying for her and you to stay healthy. Also, for the doctors and her surgery. We know who is in control and have every confidence that He hears and answers the prayers of His people.

I will continue to keep you all in my prayers as well as the Doctors and nurses in Boston. I'm so thankful for the gifts that God has given to these talented folks. We look forward to hearing good news from the tests and surgery. Julianne is in the hands of an awesome God.

Love in Christ!

I know how hard that wait is! At least the turnaround time from appt setting to going is short. God willing, you will all avoid the flu that has been going around. Ugh. I know it's no fun going back for another surgery so soon, but once this is over it will seem like an eternity btwn glenn and fontan...will you have the gt placed there? just wondering. the g tubes are so much better than the n tubes for a child that it going to need them more than days or weeks...our hearts are with you.
