All Checked In

Julianne has been admitted and is in her room.  She's got a lot of stuff going on tonight: EKG, Chest X-ray, Blood Work, Echo, IV....she's a busy girl.

The doctors and nurses came to check Julianne out (vitals, etc) and she did not like it!  She screamed!  So different from when we were in the hospital in Oct/Nov when she'd actually smile at the doctors and nurses.  I guess she's just not used to it anymore.  That's ok though.  I suppose It just means she hasn't been in the hospital in a while and we're happy about that. :)

Julianne is actually taking her pacifier right now!! I never, ever thought I would actually say a prayer of thanks that my baby was sucking on a pacifier, but I am.  Like I said yesterday, its been weeks since she'd take it.  Its so hard not being able to give her a bottle or anything.  She tries really hard to suck on her arm, but can't get too good of a suction.  We are very happy that we can hold her and give her a pacifier for some comfort.  Plus, it gives us some hope that she'll maybe suck on a bottle again. :)

We'll just be hanging out tonight.  Kent will spend the night with Julianne tonight and I'll spend the night tomorrow night.  We try to take turns.

In other news, Julianne ALMOST ROLLED OVER today!  She was on her tummy on the bed and was trying to roll to her back.  She got stuck 1/2 way and got mad.  We had the camera rolling though.  I know she'll be happy when she can roll over because she HATES being on her tummy.  Then she'll be able to say, "Forget it, Mommy, I'm not lying on my tummy!"  She gags a lot when lying on her belly so don't think I'd like that either.

I'm going to try to stop by the bagel shop on my way to the hospital tomorrow morning to post some pictures.  Thank you so much for the prayers and for checking in on us.

Cherish all those milestones. They grow up way too fast. She'll be scooting and crawling before you know it!

We will continue to pray that everything goes well. She's a tough little cookie. She'll do just fine!!

XOXOXOX
