Going Home!

Tomorrow!!!

That's right, we're being discharged tomorrow. After reading Jen's comment (thank you, Jen) we started thinking more about the possibility of going home with the NJ tube and not having the G-Tube /GJ-Tube placement. Both Kent and I want whatever is safest for Julianne even if it means inconvenience for us. This morning Kent and I were both thinking that we'd like to try to go home on the NJ-Tube and I was going to ask the cardiologist about it. However, before I could ask him, he suggested it himself! He said he needed to make sure they were comfortable with that in Boston, but that's what he would prefer too. Boston agreed. We had prayed for a solution and we felt that this was confirmation that we're doing the right thing.

Of course, Julianne did pull out the NJ-Tube just this morning. So, we may be back here sooner than later if she pulls it out again. We are going to try our best to not let that happen though.

Also, our insurance approved a pulse ox meter for Julianne! That is great news for us as well.

So, exactly 8 weeks after birth, Julianne will be home. I will try to post again tomorrow after we are settled.

Thank you for your prayers.

Goodnight :)

Wonderful news!!

I am so happy for you all!

Julianne will be soooo comfortable in her beautiful room!

God gave you the answer that you needed so that you didn't have to make the decision all on your own.

I am praying that your move home will be smooth sailing and that Julianne keeps her little mittens off of the tube.

Love you all.
