Update After Doctors's Visits

Every morning Julianne's surgeon and cardiologist come by her room and update us on any plans or news and ask if we're having any problems, etc.  Today they've both visited and the news today is that they're upping the dosage of Amiodorone again.

Julianne had been having an irregular heart rate off and on during the night.  The nurse came and drew labs and did an EKG during around midnight - 1AM.  Turns our the irregularity is some extra beats.  Although they're not causing her to go into SVT, the extra beats are an indicator that the Amiodorone is not adequately suppressing the arrhythmia.  So, we're going up to 18 mg of Amiodorone.

Julianne's surgeon actually came back while I wasn't in the room and took pictures with Julianne and Kent for a fund raiser brochure!  They're also going to print the pictures out for us.  So, that's pretty cool!

We were also able to giver her a bath today, although it came right after her last feeding when she threw up again.  So, they're gonna go back to the feeding over 90 minutes. We're still waiting to hear from the nurse practitioner to hear what they're going to do for sure.

We're on our 4th roommate now.  We thought it was going to be a family we knew from the Devon Nicole House, but at the last minute it got changed.

Finally, in case you're wondering, we're not flying home tomorrow.  We're not really sure when we're going home.

Thank you for your continued prayers for Julianne and for us.  I know its hard on her little body to be poked and pricked so many times.  We're thankful that she's so young she'll never remember this.

We're so thankful for all the ways God has blessed us through Julianne.  We were talking about all those ways the other night and there are a lot of them.  Kent and I have so much to be thankful for on both Julianne's good days and "bad" days. :)

You do have so much to be thankful for. She's arrived and seems to be on the way up.

We will continue to pray for all three of you. We're hoping maybe next week you'll be able to bring her home to her own cozy bed.

Hugs & Kisses
