Out of the ICU...Again :)

So, we're out of the ICU and on 8 East now.  Things are going well.  Julianne drank about 5ML of milk from a bottle in a little less then 30 minutes and didn't vomit it.  Then she drank 10 ML of milk in less than 10 minutes AND didn't vomit it up!!!  We were so excited!  I couldn't get her to burp though. :)

Our roommates are very nice this time.  They have a baby boy, 5 months old, here for his 2nd surgery.  So, it is an encouragement to talk to them and see how big and healthy their little boy looks.

Tonight I (Jessica) will be spending the night here with Julianne.  It will be the first night I'll spend (actually sleeping anyway) with her.

Thank you for your prayers, again.  We're so thankful for everyone's support and encouragement through comments on the blog, emails and cards.  It means so much to us.

Goodnight everyone!

By the way, Julianne has the most beautiful eyes! We've shared your blog with our family and everyone always mentions how gorgeous she is! :)

That's wonderful that she got her milk down with no issues. She's just moving right along, and that's great news!!

We continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Waiting to see all of you!!!

So glad things are better since my last post! I am still tired from Trey & Hilary's wedding this past Friday. I remember how much fun yours was! Daniel enjoyed himself immensly! I am glad he was there; you all were too- in spirit!

I kept up with J's progress but didn't have time to respond; I did continue to pray however. She has changed so much in looks since her birth. She no longer looks like Gramps Lenny! She is developing her personality as it is evident in the pictures!

We can't wait to meet her in person!

Love, kisses & hugs,
Kelley O

Dearest Kent and Jessica,

How grateful I am for your loving and sacrificial example! Your love for your daughter is proof positive that God does not make any mistakes in blessing your family with your precious Julianne!

Oh, what great things God is already doing through your daughter!!

Rest in the Lord,
