Late Update

Julianne had a pretty uneventful day.  No Arrhythmias or anything like that.   She had a hearing test which was completely normal.

She is not tolerating her feeds very well though.  Last night they had us try to give her a whole bottle since she did so well with the small amounts earlier.  She drank about 1/2 then threw it ALL up.  So, then we went back to tube feeding which she also threw up.  For her next feeding the nurse burped her as she got the feeding.   She kept that one down.  This morning...threw up the tube feeding again.  They gave her Zantac because they think its reflux that's giving her a problem.  Then we tried the bottle again.  Nope, didn't keep that one down either.  She did keep down the tube feeding that time though.   We tried 20 cc's tonight.  She drank 5 cc's, burped and was fine.  She drank 5 cc's more and threw up.  Now she's getting it through her tube.  Oh well, slowly but surely she'll get it.  As of right now, that's the only thing keeping us at the hospital.  She has to be able to keep her milk down.

We're so thankful for Julianne's continued improvement and the good results from her hearing test and pray that she will be able to keep her feedings down soon.

I'm so glad to hear of the progress being made, even if it is slow. Slow is ok, as long as it is in the right direction. God is good and he will take care of all of you to His end. We miss you all so much and are looking forward to your return home when we can hold that little one! We love you all. Judy & Neal

She will get through this. Maybe she'll need a new type of formula. We will keep everyone in our thoughts and prayers.

XOXOXOXOX
