Surgery, Day 1, Part 6

Dr. Pigula, the surgeon, just came in to inform us that the surgery was a success!!!  She is in the cardiac ICU now being prepped with a breathing tube and many I.V.s to sustain her.  There was a small leakage in the pulmonary valve, but the surgeon said that it wasn't a problem, that Julianne should be able to cope with it. So, all in all, a success!!  Praise Jesus!!

As far as we know, just Jessica and I will be able to see her tonight.  Hopefully, more of the visitors here will be able to at least see her.  The hospital is more strict about visitors when the patient is in this state.

Thank you to all who have supported us through prayer and otherwise!  We love you and thank you many times over!  Please continue praying! Recovery is critical, and will continue throughout the week.

Got a little couch potato?

An amazing and inspiring heart surgery story.

All the best for a smooth recovery.

As a double valve replacement patient, I can relate.

Cheers,
