Procedure Done

Julianne's procedure to suction the blood and fluid out of her chest this morning went well.  That is one of the reasons they leave the chest open, so they can go in and remove fluid.  This is a normal procedure for these babies.

We went in and saw her and she looks good.  They changed her dressings and removed an IV that she's had since right after she was born!  So, it was a pleasant surprise to see that IV gone. She has a little gold teddy bear sticker on her belly too.  We're not sure if it has any medical purpose or not. :)

They've said she's doing as well as can be expected and she's not on a whole lot of medication, relatively. She's receiving great care.

Hopefully we'll be able to post a few pictures later tonight.

I am so happy that I could be there to welcome Julianne into the world. I'm glad I got to hold her little hand and kiss her soft cheek.

Even though I have had to go home my prayers and thoughts will continue to be with you all.

I love you all and will miss you.
