Christmas is Coming

Only 4 days away from Julianne's first Christmas!

Well we haven't had any more "vomit-free" days, but it certainly is less. She's only vomiting 3 or 4 times a day. We're happy and very thankful for this great improvement. :) Of course, we continue to pray for this problem to be completely resolved. Its so hard on her and hard to watch her go through the gagging and retching each time.

Even with all of her vomiting issues, Julianne's doctors are impressed with how big she's getting! We saw a doctor that had never seen Julianne before and he said, "Nice to meet you, Julianne. I've never met you, but I've heard of you. You are a big girl!" He told us that for a baby with heart disease, she's big. At her 3 month visit she was 23 inches long and 11lbs 9oz! Her Cardiologist said she is big enough for her 2nd surgery now. At her next appointment with the Cardiologist she'll have an echo, EKG and chest x-ray. Then he'll get in touch with Boston about when they want her to come back up.

Julianne is "talking" more and more every day! I love it! I'll sing to her and she'll say, "ahhh" while I'm singing. Its so cute. Of course, she won't do it on camera. She made a loud noise the other day and scared herself!

Julianne received some Christmas outfits and I'm hoping to post some pictures by Monday. She's been quite the model lately.

Finally, I know I've been a little slow on the thank you notes (ok, I haven't sent any out since before Julianne was born), but please know how thankful we are for all of the prayers, words of encouragement, and generous gifts and support. We are so greatful for all of them. :)

Hurray for fat babies! Julianne is big, it is so wonderful when they grow and start communicating with you. I'm praying that she will be ready for the 2nd surgery very soon, and that your days of doctors would be soon thinning out...
