Responding to Meds

Julianne seems to be responding to the Amiodorone they're giving her intravenously for her arrhythmia.  So far she's not had any since they started the medication.  We may have a winner as far as medication is concerned.

The doctors told us they are letting Julianne rest today and will try to begin weaning her from ECMO tomorrow if everything goes well tonight.

The results from the head ultrasound are not back yet and the neurologist was not able to determine anything because they have her sedated and on paralytic drugs.  However, the nurse said that there is nothing to indicate any damage at this point.  Her pupils are doing what they are supposed to and all of her lab work has come back good.

Please continue to pray for Julianne's healing and thank God for everything he's done for us.

That's great news to hear. Like I said earlier, she's a tough little cookie.

Maybe when she moves out of ICU, she'll have a new roommate, a nicer one.... : )

We continue to pray for all of you-all.

XOXOXOXOXO

I am glad that all is calm.

I will pray that all goes well tomorrow as they start to wean her off of the emco machine.

I love you all.
