They did the wire study with her pacing wires this morning. The doctors (and us) were hoping that they would NOT be able to start up her arrhythmia, but they did. The good news is that it took quite a bit longer to start it up than before. So, now we're waiting to hear what the plan is as far as her Amiodorone dosage or other plan for her arrhythmia. Another bit of good news is that she has not had any arrhythmias (not counting the one they made her have this morning) in over 24 hours.
So, we're still just waiting and praying for her. We did buy a stethoscope today at the suggestion of the doctor so that we can check her at home to make sure she's not in SVT (Tachycardia). We've listened to her heart during regular rhythm and while in SVT, so we know how the two sound different. I hope, however, we'll never have that issue at home.
I did take some pictures of Julianne on ECMO but decided not to post them because they are pretty unsettling, more than her post-surgery pictures, I think.
Thank you for all of your prayers.
