Well we were going to post pictures...

...then we forgot the camera at the hospital. So, pictures of the closed chest will come tomorrow.

Julianne is doing well. We just called and checked on her a few minutes ago. She'd had some arrhythmia earlier in the evening, after her chest closure. However, they've gotten that under control. They gave her some electrolytes and that seemed to solve the problem.

Tonight they're taking her off of the paralytic drug, giving her another drug that will increase her blood flow to her hands and feet, and possibly reducing her Dopamine. Our nurse said that getting her moving again will cause her blood pressure to go up. So, that's why they may be able to reduce the Dopamine. All good things.

Thank you for all of your continued prayers and support. It has meant so much to us to know that we have so many people praying with us and for us. It makes it seem like we're not so far away.

I know it is impossible to imagine at this moment in your lives, but in a few years all of these surgeries will be behind you and you will be marveling at how that ever came to pass so fast. We are just back in Lafayette tonight, with Giacomo snugly in bed with his big brother, after fighting over toys as if we did not just come back from his Fontan two weeks ago tomorrow. Believe it! It can be rough few years but it will come to pass for Julianne. Much love from LA, the Steele-Billeauds.

So glad things are progressing well. We so appreciate your faithfulness in so many, many ways. Julianne is so precious - just like her parents.

It is so good to hear that things are moving along so well.

I am sure it will be nice to see her wiggling her fingers and toes again!

I continue to pray for you all throughout the day!

Good morning! It's early Friday and I just finished going through all the posts and pictures again. We love you all and continue to lift you all up. Thanks for the pictures... what a blessing!

We pray for continuing "little" victories for Julianne today -- and we're confident that the final victory is already won!

Stay strong!

Love in Christ,
Matt & Patti
