Thursday Morning Update

Julianne looks a lot less puffy this morning.  That was so nice to see when we came in.  She got rid of A LOT of fluid last night.  There's still more to get rid of but its coming out.

They did have to put her back on the paralytic drug because her oxygen levels had dropped last night.  The doctor said it was probably due to some mucus in the tube.  At no time did she become unstable.  They put her back on the paralytic so that she wouldn't become unstable.  It did not cause any damage to her.

Julianne's cardiologist is talking with the surgeon to see if we're still on track to get her chest closed today.  The Cardiologist says more than likely, we are.  So, I will update later when we hear more.
