At 9pm EST, the nurse has informed us that Julianne will be out of surgery in around 30 minutes. There was some bleeding during surgery, but it's what can be expected. They have taken care of that, and as soon as she makes it back to the cardiac ICU, the nurse will need around an hour to get her set up and stable so that we can see her. The first 12 hours will be very critical, and she will remain under anesthesia until they remove her breathing tube. We've heard that this can be a few days.
So, so far so good, and it looks like the surgery went well. As we know more, you'll know more. Again, thank you to everyone who's been praying and supporting us.
