The Big Day

Monday, September 24th is the big day for Julianne. She has her first surgery. Right now, we can't access this blog from the hospital internet. All personal and social sites are blocked. However, we're trying to get the post from email feature to work so that we can update you all as we are updated during her surgery.

In the cardiac surgery waiting room they have a nurse liaison who receives calls from the operating room and will update us approximately every 90 minutes or at major events during the surgery.

Today we signed consent forms...consenting to the risks of the surgery and anesthesia. It was scary to say "ok" to the risks but our trust is not in the doctors its in God. The verse I keep saying to myself in my head is:

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Thank you for your continued prayers for our baby girl, for us and for our families.

Our prayers are with you as Julianne undergoes her first procedure. We have her under several prayer chains.

We love you all with all our hearts. I love the passage you have. It is so true. God has her in his hands. We'll trust in him.

Philippians 4:6-7 is true. We will trust in Him...for your daughter, too.

God bless y'all...
